Answered Prayers

Thank you to all of you who have been praying for 18th Street, SE. There has been no gunfire (that I've heard) since the last incident that I blogged about. People are outside again and sitting on their porches, which is a relief. Porch-sitting and talking to passers-by is the greatest part of my neighborhood, and the whole place feels lifeless when it doesn't happen.
